The Medical Export Group (MEG) is a wholesaler of non-prescription pharmaceuticals and medical equipment for development organisations and developing countries. MEG’s primary clients are large UN organisations, such as the WHO and UNICEF, but it supplies local NGOs and governments as well. The majority of MEG’s turnover derives from long-term contracts. The group’s product range includes pharmaceuticals, medical consumables and disposable goods, medical kits and hospital and clinical devices.

Following a range of organic and inorganic growth initiatives, Foreman sold its interest in 2026.

Foreman’s value-add:

Foreman actively supported MEG in professionalising the organisation, strengthening the management team and improving financial reporting and strategic decision-making. In addition, Foreman supported the acquisition of Amstelfarma, the development of a new purpose-built warehouse and operational restructuring of the business.
