Thermo Electric is a manufacturer of high-end industrial temperature sensors for the semiconductor, oil and gas, petrochemical and energy industries. The sensors are produced at the company’s headquarters in Waddinxveen. Thermo Electric supplies clients in Europe, Asia and America through its three sales offices (in the Netherlands, Belgium and the Emirates) and thirteen agents.

Exit:

In 2018, Thermo Electric was sold to Pentronic, a subsidiary company of the Swedish industrial group Indutrade, in cooperation with the incumbent management that continued to lead the organisation after completion of the transaction.

Foreman’s value-add:

Foreman supported the management in the execution of the company’s carve-out from Doedijns Group International, the development and execution of its growth strategy, the optimisation of the commercial organisation and the implementation of a new collective bargaining agreement and pension scheme. It also invested in the professionalisation of the organisation by strengthening the management team, implementing a new ERP system and expanding the production facilities in Waddinxveen, among others.
